Monolayer Extruders      Multilayer Extruders

Multilayer extrusion is the simplest method of producing multi-layer sheet with a varying combination of materials. The different types and forms of materials are conveyed from independent extruding units, that are part of the main extruder.
The different layers are combined in a super finished feed block and they flow through a fish-tail type single channel, flat die, to produce the desired structure. The extruded sheet is passed through the edge trimming unit, this finished sheet is then wound into separate winders and the side trimmed material is separately wound in a scrap-winder.
